When using electrical appliances,
safety precautions should always
be followed including the follow-
ing:
Work area Safety
1.
Close supervision is necessary when
any appliance is used by or near
children.
2.
Do not operate in an enclosed space.
3.
Keep the work area well lit. Make
sure there is adequate surrounding
workspace. Keep the work area free
of obstructions and other debris.
4.
Provide adequate ventilation space
on all sides. Inadequate ventilation
space may cause fire or damage.
Hot Surface Safety
1.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use imple-
ments and oven mittens.
2.
Allow to cool before handling parts.
3.
Keep multiple ABC class fire extin-
guishers nearby. Monitor the appli-
ance while in use.
