Customizing the Preset Values of the Stitch
Length and Width
The preset values of the stitch length and width are
optimized for each pattern.
However, you can change the preset values to suit your
sewing preferences.
Example:To change the preset value of the stitch length
"2.40" to "3.00".
Select the stitch pattern you wish to change the preset
value.

The indication of stitch width and length are in the
brackets.

Press the stitch length adjusting key to adjust the stitch
length to "3.00".

Press the favorite setting key. The LCD screen will
display the custom setting window.

Press the memory key r or its icon t on the LCD
screen to save the favorite settings.

The LCD screen will return to the previous window and
the symbol "C" will appear on the screen to indicate that
the preset values have been changed.

Restoring the default settings
Select a pattern for which you have changed the preset
settings.
Press the favorite setting key q. The LCD screen will

show the custom setting window with the customized
settings.

Press the clear key e or its icon w on the LCD screen to
restore the default settings.

The LCD screen will return to the previous window and
the symbol "C" will disappear r.
The preset values will return to the default setting (the
same settings as when you purchased the machine).
NOTE:
To restore all of the custom stitch settings, refer to
page 29.
