6.4 Adjustment

Height adjustment
(1) Remove the ADF handle cover.

(4 screws)
(2) Loosen the magnet mounting
screws. (left) (2 screws)
(3) Close the ADF fully.
(4) Press down on the front side of
the ADF firmly and adjust the
magnet until it contacts the
magnet catch plate, then tighten
the magnet mounting screws.
(5) Reinstall the ADF handle cover.
(4 screws)
Original skew adjustment
Note: Make sure the copier is adjusted
correctly before making this
adjustment.
(1) Open the ADF.
(2) Loosen the ADF hinge mounting
Copy A
screw (right side).
(3) Move the ADF in "A" or "B"
direction as required, then tighten
the screw.
Copy B
Copy A: Move the ADF in "A" direction.
Copy B: Move the ADF in "B" direction.
Original side to side adjustment
Note: Make sure the copier is adjusted correctly
before making this adjustment.
(1) Loosen the original feed tray
adjusting screws (2 screws), and
move the tray front or rear as
required, then tighten the screws.
