Before using the WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) scanning driver to scan, you should put the U-shaped

shaped Ruler" section in this manual.

A. Switch to the folder "C:\Program Files\Microtek\ScanWizard Pro\Scanners"
(where C:\ is your ScanWizard Pro location), then delete the calibration
data Calidata91_ xxxxxxxxxx.dat, Calidata2191_ xxxxxxxxxx.dat or
Calidata219b_ xxxxxxxxxx.dat from the folder.
B. Reset all calibration data.
1) Launch ScanWizard Pro. In the Preview window, select "Calibration
Settings" from the Preferences menu.
2) Set the Calibration Mode as "Smart", and then click the "Execute"
button next to the "Reset All Calibration Data" to reset all calibration
data. The calibration data file saved in "C:\Program
Files\Microtek\ScanWizard Pro\Scanners" folder will be removed
automatically.
When done, launch ScanWizard Pro, you will be invited to calibrate the scanner
again. Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate your scanner.
