Problem
Clean out airways
,
appears after a
programme has
been cancelled.
The laundry is
not properly dry.
A prompt which has not
been described
previously appears in
the display.
* To delete a fault message: Switch the dryer off and then on again.
Possible cause
The cool air intake
panel is blocked.
The temperature in
the room has risen
sharply.
To prevent the heat
pump overheating,
the dryer has
cancelled the drying
process with a
cooling down phase.
An excessive amount
of fluff has built up.
A programme cannot
be started while there
is a fault message in
the display.
Problem solving guide
Remedy *
– Move any objects, such as
a laundry basket, away
from the grille.
– Open a door or window to
keep the room temperature
down.
– Wait until the room has
cooled down before
restarting the programme.
– Check and clean the
surfaces of the fluff filters
and the fine filter.
Use a vacuum cleaner dusting
brush or small crevice nozzle
to vacuum up any soiling
carefully:
– From the heat exchanger
unit, bottom left (see
"Cleaning and care").
– Follow the instructions in
the display.
– If a programme still cannot
be started, call Miele Ser-
vice.
