disc you have selected in
(Normal Play)
original order.

The MP3 files in the
folder on the disc you
(Normal Play)

For AUDIO CDs, this
play mode performs the
same operation as
"1 DISC" play mode.
ALL DISC
The tracks or files on all
SHUF*
discs in random order.
(Shuffle Play)
1 DISC SHUF*
The tracks or files on the
disc you have selected in
(Shuffle Play)
random order.
SHUF*
The MP3 files in the
folder on the disc you
(Shuffle Play)
have selected in random
order.
For AUDIO CDs, this
play mode performs the
same operation as
"1 DISC SHUF" play
mode.
PGM
The tracks or files on all
disc in the order you
(Program Play)
want them to be played
back (see "Creating your
own program" on
page 33).
* Each time you perform Shuffle Play, the
playing order may differ. If you turn off the
system in shuffle play mode, the system
changes the play mode back to normal play
mode.
Notes on playing discs
• The following discs/situations can increase
the time it takes to start playback:
– a disc recorded with a complicated tree
structure.
– a disc recorded in Multi Session.
– when the files in another folder have just
been played back.
• Do not save other types of files or unnecessary
folders on an MP3 disc.
