OPENING CARTON
1. Cuteachcorner of thecartonverticallyfrom top to bottom.
2. Remove a ll looseparts.
3. Remove l oosepackingmaterial.
REMOVING UNITFROM CARTON
1. Lift unit from the rearto detachit from underlying cartonmaterial a ndroll
unit out of carton.
2. Check cartonthoroughlyforanyotherlooseparts.

1. Remove a nypackingmaterial w hichmaybebetweenupperandlower
handles.
a. Remove w ingnuts andcarriage boltshandleasshownin Figure 1.
Donot loosen or remove adjacent h exheadscrews.
b. Whilestabilizingmowersoit doesn't m ove,pivotupperhandleupas
shownin Figure 2. Donotcrimpcablewhilelifting the handleup.
