The shoe base assembly
slides
in or out to adjust the effective
stroke length for maximum
control
and longer blade life.
1.
Remove the battery
pack
from the reciprocating
saw.
2.
Loosen the two hexagon
socket screws with the hex
key stored on the saw.

Push or pull the shoe base to
the desired
position.
4.
Tighten the hexagon socket screws.

WARNING:
To avoid injury and damage,
do not operate the saw without
the pivoting
shoe in place. The spindle may strike against the workpiece
and
damage the reciprocating
mechanism
and can cause kickback
resulting
in

TO PIVOT SHOE (Fig. 6}
The shoe pivots to provide
maximum
control when aligned
against the surface being cut.
1.
Remove the battery
pack
from the reciprocating
saw.
2.
Firmly hold the saw and then
pivot the shoe to the desired
angle,while
taking care to
avoid contact
with the blade.

Before attaching
the battery pack to the tool,
always check to determine

the trigger switch
