TOATTACH POURING SHIELD*
1. Turn speed control to OFE
2. Unplug Stand Mixer ordisconnect power.
3. Attach FlatBeater, Dough H ook, or Wire
Whipandbowl.
4. From thefrontofthemixer, slidethePouring
Shield overthebowluntil t heshieldis
centered. Thebottom rimoftheshield
should fit within thebowl.
TOREMOVE POURING SHIELD
1. Turnspeed control to OFE
2. Unplug S tand Mixer or disconnect power.
3. LiftthefrontofthePouring Shield clear
ofthebowlrimandpullforward.
4. Remove a ttachment andbowl.
TOUSE POURING SHIELD
1. Forbestresults, rotate theshield sothe
motor head covers the"u"shaped gapin
theshield. Thepouring chute will bejustto
theriqhtoftheattachment hubasyouface
themixer.
2. Pour theingredients intothebowl t hrough
thepouring chute.

NOTE: Check thatbowlandpouring shieldare
properly inplace.

offlocating pins.
TORAISE BOWL
= Rotate h andle backandupuntilit snaps
intothelocked vertical p osition.

position whenmixing.
TOLOWER BOWL
• Rotate h andle backanddown.

downward.

TOOPERATE SPEED CONTROL
• Speed control l ever s hould always beseton
lowest s peed forstarting, thengradually
moved to desired h igher speed to avoid
splashing i ngredients outof bowl. S ee

OVERLOAD RESET B UTTON

* If themixer isoverloaded, theOverload
Reset Button willpopoutandthemixer will
shutoff.Turn theSpeed Control Lever t o
OFE Wait a fewminutes, thenpushin the
Overload R eset Button. Turn theSpeed
Control Lever t othedesired speed and
continue mixing.
