It is the responsibility of the Installer to
ensure that the water supply to the
dispensing equipment is provided with
protection against backflow by an air gap as
defined in ANSI/ASME A112. 1.2-1979; or an
approved vacuum breaker or other such
method as proved effective by test.
Water pipe connections and fixtures directly
connected to a potable water supply shall be
sized, installed, and maintained according to
Federal, State, and Local laws.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION This section provides a description, theory of operation, and design data for the Tea Urn Post-Mix Beverage Dispenser, hereinafter referred to as a Unit. UNIT DESCRIPTION The Unit (see Figure 1) is compact and intended for countertop installation.

  • Page 16 The Tea Urn Manual 312020-000 was revised. Removed all information in regard to a syrup tank hookup and made it only a bag-in-box hookup. This revised manual was never released on a PCN. Talked to George Murphy about this (08/11/94) and he said not to be in a hurry to release the revised manual as they have a rather large stock of old manuals in stock showing the syrup tank hookup along with the bag-in-box hookup which he said is no big deal.
