SHIFTER LEVER

3.11 Install and adjust wheel drive linkages.
a) Locate the drive lever linkages which have the balljoint and jam nuts installed on
one end. Locate the (2) 3/8-16 x 2 Hex cap screws and (2) 3/8-16 nyloc nuts in
the bolt bag. Thread drive lever linkage into the swivel located on the wheel
drive idler arms. Thread in until the flat edge of the drive lever aligns with
bottom of the roller notch in the neutral lock/park brake latch. With the drive
lever in this position, insert the 3/8-16 x 2 hex cap screw through the hole in the
drive lever and the hole in the balljoint and secure with the 3/8-16 nyloc nut.
Tighten nut. Repeat for the other side. See Figures 7 and 8.
b) Loosen the jam nuts below the ball joint and rotate the drive lever rods until the
rod has the bend facing outward. Note: This step allows clearance for the
blade engagement lever and linkage on the left hand side of the unit. Tighten
jam nuts.
