About the call log

How the call log works

The system stores caller ID information about the last 50 incoming calls in
the base unit. Entries are stored in reverse chronological order. When the
call log is full, the oldest entry is deleted to make room for new calls. If
you answer a call before the information appears on the screen, it does not
show in the call log .
NOTE: Each entry may have up to 16 digits for the phone number and 15 characters for
the name. If the phone number has more than 16 digits, only the last 16 digits appear. If
the name has more than 15 characters, only the first 15 characters are shown and saved
in the call log.

Missed (new) call indicator

When the base unit is in idle mode and has new or missed
calls, its screen shows XX Missed calls.
All new or missed entries are counted as missed calls. Each
time after you reviewed a new call log entry, the number of
missed calls decreases by one.
If the base unit resumes power after power outage, the missed calls indicator
goes away.
