Using your Answering Machine

3.19.1

Playing messages

1. Press PLAY/STOP on the corded base from idle mode. New messages will be played
followed by any older messages.
2. During message playback, press the keys below on the corded base to perform the
following functions:
Press to repeat the current message from the beginning.
Press twice to play the previous message.
Press to stop the current message playback.
Press to skip to play the next message.
Press to delete the current message and the next message will be played.
Press to increase the volume.
Press to decrease the volume.
NOTE
When you are on a call, the answering system will not answer the second
incoming call.

Turning On or Off the Answering Machine

1. Press MENU and then +/- to select

Setting the announcement mode

3. Press MENU and then +/- to select the announcement modes:
• ANNC & REC invites your callers to leave a message.
• ANNC ONLY lets callers hear your announcement but they cannot leave a message.
4. Press MENU to save the setting.
