Replacing the Wireless Card

Procedure

Align the notches on the wireless card with the tabs in the wireless-card
slot.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to the wireless card, never place
cables under the wireless card.

Slide the wireless-card at an angle into the wireless-card slot.

Connect the antenna cables to the wireless card.
The following table provides the antenna cable color schemes for the
wireless card supported by your computer.
Connectors on the wireless card
Main (white triangle)
Auxiliary (black triangle)

Press the other end of the wireless card down.
5
Place the wireless-card bracket on the wireless card.
6
Replace the screw that secures the wireless-card bracket to the system
board.

Post-requisites

Replace the battery.
