In order to convert the venting confi guration of the GD19 from
rear exit to top exit, follow the instructions below.
1. Remove the outer top (secured with 8 screws).
2. Remove the access plate (secured with 4 screws).
3. Remove the 4" and 7" cover plates and gaskets from the
top. Also remove the 4" and 7" collars and gaskets from the
rear.

TOP EXIT CONVERSION

IMPORTANT: Check gaskets for tears and replace if nec-
cessary.
4. In reverse order, replace the gaskets, collars and cover
plates to suit.
5. Remove the knock out from the top access plate and
install.
6. Remove knock-out from the outer top and re-install.
