Applique

1. Draw a mirror image of your
design on the paper side of
the fusible web.
2. Iron the fusible web so
that it sticks to the wrong
side of the appliqué
material.
3. Cut out the appliqué.
Remove the paper layer
from the fusible web. Fuse
the appliqué to the back-
ground material. Place
stabilizer under background
fabric.
4. Satin stitch, No 19
width 2.0, around the edges. Sew
all design lines using the same
satin stitches.
Alternative:
Cut the design 5 mm larger than
the final size (seam allowance).
Sew the appliqué stitch, No 10
over the folded edge.

Aplicación
1. Dibujar el motivo al revés en
el lado de papel de la
entretela doble adhesiva.
2. Una la entretela con el
revés de la tela de
aplicación planchandola.
3. Cortar la aplicación. Sacar
el papel de la entretela.
Una la aplicación con la
tela de fondo planchan-
dola.
4. Coser los bordes con un
zig-zag muy tupido, núm
19
2 mm. También coser todos los
detalles interiores con esta
costura.
Alternativa:
Corte el motivo 5 mm más
grande que el tamaño final
(borde de la tela). Cosa la
puntada de applicación, núm 10
, sobre el borde doblado.
