Automatic buttonholes

2. Select a buttonhole on the stitch panel.
The buttonhole will be pre-set for a 16
mm button when the machine is turned
on. The number 16 is therefore shown on
the display in place of the stitch length
together with the symbol
3. If you are using a different size button,
measure the button on the buttonhole rule
below and set the correct size with the
stitch length buttons (+) or (-). The size
will change by 2 mm at a time.
4. Turn the measurement wheel so that the
white area is lined up with the white
mark. When the measurement wheel is
correctly set, the circle in the
will stop flashing.
If the circle or the whole symbol
flashing the machine can not be started.
For better visibility the machine sews
buttonholes away from you.
Buttonhole size
5. The machine will sew the correct size
buttonhole for the button size you have
selected. The buttonhole will be sewn in
one step, and when the button-hole is
completed the machine will stop
automatically.
NOTE: Always stitch a sample buttonhole on
scraps of the garment fabric to check size
before sewing buttonholes on the garment.
Changing the density/stitch length
To change the stitch density of the buttonhole
columns, adjust the length setting of the
stitch. Unplug the buttonhole sensor. The
stitch length will then be shown on the
Infodisplay again and you will be able to
adjust the density of the
buttonhole. When you
plug in the buttonhole
sensor foot, the display
goes back to showing
the size of the
buttonhole, but
remembers the new stitch length setting.
Place the button as shown on the circles on
the picture and you can easily see the size
needed for your buttonhole.

Sensor prensatelas
2. Seleccionar un ojal del menú. El número
del ojal seleccionado aparecerá en la
pantalla. El ojal será pre-ajustado a un
botón de 16 mm. Por eso la cifra 16
aparecerá en la pantalla en lugar de la
indicación de la longitud de puntada y
señalará con el símbolo
3. Si su botón tiene otro tamaño, se tendrá
que medir el botón con las teclas de la
longitud de puntada (+) o (-). El temaño
cambiará 2 mm cada vez que Vd. pulsa.
4. Controlar que la referencia blanca de la
rueda de medición esté en línea con la
marca blanca de referencia. Si la rueda de
medición está bien ajustada, relucerá en la
pantalla el símbolo
Si el círculo o todo el símbolo
parpadea, la máquina no puede ponerse
en marcha.
¡Atención! La máquina comienza a coser los
ojales en marcha atrás.
Tamaño del ojal
5. La máquina coserá el ojal con el tamaño
correcto para el tamaño de botón que se
haya elegido.
Todo el ojal se coserá de una vez, y al
terminar el ojal la máquina se parará
automaticamente.
Siempre es prudente hacer un ojal de prueba.
Cambiar la densidad y la longitud de
puntada
Si desea cambiar la longitud de puntadas del
ojal, desconecte el sensor prensatelas. La
longitud de puntada se indicará de nuevo en
la pantalla y se podrá ajustar la densidad del
ojal. Al instalar el sensor prensatelas la
pantalla vuelve a indicar
del ojal.

Si coloca el botón como muestran los anillos
en el dibujo, podrá leer con facilidad la
longitud el ojal que debe regular.
