SENDING A MESSAGE

This feature gives you the ability to send and
receive preprogrammed messages. Data
messages make more efficient use of channels
compared to voice transmissions. Messages of
up to 14 characters may be programmed by
your dealer.

When your radio receives a message:
You will hear two alert tones.
The LED indicator flashes yellow.
