Sending Documents

Direct Transmission

If your machine's memory is full or you wish to send the
document immediately, use Direct Transmission.
(To use Direct Transmission, you need to set "OFF" into the Fax
Parameter No. 05 (MEMORY) in advance. (See page 35)

Manual Number Dialing (Direct Transmission)

To dial the telephone number manually, follow the steps below.
Make sure that the FAX lamp is ON. If not, press

Enter a telephone number from the keypad.
Ex:

Your machine starts to dial the telephone number.

Set document(s) face up.
Place a book or document face down on the
Platen Glass.
