Possible cause
The focus
distance is closer
than the camera
can focus.
The camera is
connected to a
USB device that it
does not
recognize.
There is no
connection
between the
camera and
printer.
A supported
printer is either
turned off or not
connected to the
camera.
Print size is larger
than paper size
in the
Print Setup
menu.
Solution
Set the camera to
focus, or if set to
focus, move further away
from the subject. See
Using macro mode
page 36.
Make sure that the camera
is connected to a
supported printer or
computer.
Make sure the cable is
connected between the
camera or HP 8886
camera dock and the
printer. If that does not
work, turn off the camera
and disconnect it. Turn the
printer off and then on
again. Re-connect the
camera and turn it on.
Make sure the camera is
connected to a supported
printer and that the printer
is turned on.
Change either print size or
paper size in the
Setup
menu.
