Notes on the SteadyShot function
•The SteadyShot function will not correct excessive camera-shake.
•Attachment of a conversion lens (not supplied) may influence the SteadyShot
function.
If you cancel the SteadyShot function
The SteadyShot OFF indicator
compensation for camera-shake.

z ON To automatically adjust the electronic
shutter speed.
OFF To fix the electronic shutter speed.
z OFF Records still/moving pictures in the
interlace format.
ON Records still/moving pictures in
progressive mode.
z 0 % Records with the SETUP 0 % system.
7.5 % Records with the SETUP 7.5 % system.
z OFF To deactivate the digital zoom. Up to 12
zoom is carried out.
24 To activate the digital zoom. More than 12
zoom is performed digitally. This value goes
up to 24 (p. 22).
48 To activate the digital zoom. More than 12
zoom is performed digitally. This value goes
up to 48 (p. 22).

ON To record a 16:9 wide picture (p. 36).
z ON To compensate for camera-shake.
OFF To cancel the SteadyShot function. Natural
pictures are produced when shooting a
stationary object with a tripod.
