Removing and installing intake mani-
fold
Removing
- Detach the hose pipe from the throttle valve
positioner.
K - Slacken the bolt -1- and take off the intake
manifold -2-.
- Take off the shaped rubber element of the
cylinder head breather.
K - Slacken the bolts -1- at the EGR valve.
- Slacken the bolts -2- and take off the intake
pipe.
Installing
- Install in the reverse order.
- Tighten the bolts attaching the intake pipe to
the cylinder head to 20 Nm (replace seals).
- Tighten the bolts attaching the EGR valve to
20 Nm (replace seal).
- Tighten the bolts attaching the top and bot-
tom parts of the intake manifold to 15 Nm.
