Maintenance Schedule
Additional Required
Services - Normal
Rotate tires and perform Required Services.
Check engine oil level and oil life percentage.
Change engine oil and filter, if needed.
Drain the diesel fuel filter of water. (Diesel Only)
Replace passenger compartment air filter. (1)
Inspect evaporative control system. (2)
2.0L Diesel Engine Only: Replace fuel filter. (3)
Replace engine air cleaner filter. (4)
Except 1.4L Engine: Replace spark plugs. Inspect
ignition coil boots.
1.4L Engine Only: Replace spark plugs. Inspect
ignition coil boots.
1.4L and 1.8L Engine Vehicles Only: Change
automatic transmission fluid. Change filter if
serviceable.
1.8L Engine Only: Replace timing belt, idler
pulley, and timing belt tensioner. (7)
2.0L Diesel Engine Only: Replace the timing belt,
timing belt tensioner, idler pulley, and water
pump. (7)
Drain and fill engine cooling system. (5)
Visually inspect accessory drive belts. (6)
Replace brake fluid. (7)
Replace clutch fluid. (7)
