To remove a a RAM expansion module

Your OmniBook's computer chips are extremely static-sensitive. Static electricity can
permanently damage computer chips. Before starting, reading the caution on
page 1-85 about how to handle RAM expansion modules.
1. From the Start menu, shut down the OmniBook.
2. Unplug the ac adapter, if present, and remove the battery. (Remove a second
battery if one is installed.)
3. Turn the unit bottom side up, then remove the two screws from the RAM cover
and remove the cover.
4. Release the two latches at the sides of the RAM board, so the free edge of the
board pops up.
5. Pull the board out of the connector.
6. Replace the door.
7. Insert the battery.
