Recording Modes
Recording on the Go
• When recording on the go, ensure that you have at least two bars of signal
strength on the main screen. This will help prevent accidental interruption of
your recording if there is a fade in signal strength.
• To start your recording, press the

and select"Record."
You can choose to record just the song currently playing or record the
channel.
• To stop recording, press

Stop Recording.
Shortcut:
To immediately start recording the song that is currently playing
in Live XM mode, press and hold the
XM

button until you
see the "Recording..." message appear on the display.
Scheduling a Recording Session
• In order to schedule a recording, you must first have your radio in the home
dock with the power adapter and XM antenna connected.
• Be sure you have at least two bars of signal strength.
• To set up your scheduled recording time, press
