Transferring a Call

NOTE
Redial the last number dialed.
• Press the function key for Redial. (Display shows the
number to redial.)
• Repeat the above step until the desired number is
displayed (for up to 5 previously dialed numbers).
• Press the * key. The number on the display is
automatically dialed.
• After conversing, ask the party to hold.
• Press the Transfer key, hear interrupted dial tone.
• Dial destination station extension, and hang up or wait
for destination to answer.
Contact your phone system administrator to determine if your INASET R2 has this
function configured and how to specifically access it.
Set an automatic Callback when a called station is busy.
• Press the function key for Callback. Hear service set
tone.
• Hang up handset.
• When both parties become idle, your INASET R2 will
ring. When the INASET R2 is answered, the called
station will then ring.
