N. TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem
Unit does not start
Dehumidifier does not dry the
air as it should
The unit makes a loud noise
when operating
Frost appears on the coils
Water on floor
Power indicator light flashes
continuously
E1 Humidity sensor fault
E1 Temperature sensor error
P1 Defrosting
P2 Bucket is full
What to check
Ensure the dehumidifier plug is pushed
completely in to the power socket.
Check the house fuse at the consumer board.
Dehumidifier has reached its preset RH %
level or bucket is full.
Bucket is not in the correct position.
Have not allowed enough time to remove
moisture.
Ensure there are no curtains, blinds or
furniture blocking the front or back of unit.
The humidity selector may not be set low
enough.
Check that all doors, windows and other
openings are closed.
Room temperature is too low.
There is something giving off water vapour in
the room.
The air filter is clogged.
The unit is tilted.
The floor surface is not level.
This is normal. The unit has Auto defrost
mode.
Hose to continuous drain outlet may be loose.
Intended to use bucket to collect water but the
back drain hose is removed.
Temperature sensor error. Unplug the unit and
plug it back in. If error repeats call for service.
Unplug the unit and plug it back after 3
minutes. If error repeats, call a service
engineer.
Unplug the unit and plug it back after 3
minutes. If error repeats, call a service
engineer.
This is normal. The unit has an Auto defrost
mode. The error will be clear automatically
once defrosting completely.
Empty the bucket and reposition.
