No dial tone
Is the line cord plugged into the phone socket?

Nothing happens when you dial
Check the dialling mode switch is set to the correct position. Page 7.

Phone does not ring
Is the ringer volume set to Off? Page 19.

You may have too many phones, fax machines and/or answering machines plugged in
which might be overloading the sockets. See Technical Information, page 32.
Either the Line 1 or Line 2 light flashes constantly
The telephone cord for that line is unplugged.
