    Install the Hub 1. Set the hub on a flat surface or mount it on a wall and choose a location that: • Is close to an electrical outlet. • Exposes the front and rear panels to allow connection of the network cables and easy monitoring of the LEDs.

    Connect the Network Cables Using the unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables that are supplied, connect any port on the hub to the port on a network card in each PC. Note: Set the Normal/Uplink push button on the Model EN104 to Normal when connecting port 4 on the hub to either a PC or the network card.

    Install the Windows Network Driver This guide provides you with instructions for installing a Windows 95 or Windows 98 network driver. All versions of Windows might not respond with the same screens. Therefore, windows that are different from those shown in these instructions might open but prompt you for the same information, and windows might open in a different order than the order of the steps in these instructions.

    Remove the Drivers and Diagnostics Disk from the floppy drive, remove the Windows CD from the CD drive (if you have inserted it), and then click on “Yes.” Restart your system to enable your PC when you are finished setting up your new hardware.
