85. How do I activate my Hotspot?
The Wi-Fi hotspot is enabled prior to purchase.
86. How do I change my login information for my hotspot connection?
In the apps, under the Settings page, tap Account Settings, Module management, then tap the
name of the Wi-Fi capable module you want modify. Tap Wi-Fi Hotspot to access the Wi-Fi
settings. On the web, select Manage Modules on the Settings drop-down menu, then click on the
Wi-Fi icon next to the module you wish to modify. For full access to all settings, use the
administrator portal available in the module. Connect to the module over Wi-Fi. Open your
browser and in the address bar, enter http://my.dphconnect and press Enter.
87. Will using my hotspot drain my battery?
While the engine is running, there is no impact to your battery. If you use the hotspot while the
engine if off, you will use some power from the battery. You can control the time the hotspot
remains on after turning the engine off by using the shutoff timers.
88. Can I access my mobile hotspot from outside the vehicle?
The hotspot is designed to provide good signal strength inside your vehicle. You may be able to
connect to the hotspot while outside the vehicle but the signal will be significantly reduced.
