Operation panel unit
Connects to Operation panel unit. Performs
This also includes document sensor and document
edge sensor signals.
Centronics connector for parallel connection to host.
Host (PC)
Connects between scanning section and contact

sensor. Its purpose is to drive voltage for the
contact sensor, and to receive image signals.
Conducts data exchange of data signals with NCU
NCU board (Jl)
board, after modulation by the MODEM IC, and
before demodulation. Also transmits control signals
for the relays.

cartridge detection and type identification signals.
Supplies drive voltage for the carriage motor.
Carriage motor
Supplies drive voltage for the line feed motor.
Line feed motor
Input connector for DC voltage converted by the
Power supply unit
PSU. +5V and +24V voltages are supplied.
Supplies +5V voltage for the SCNT board and
Centronics interface signal.
Supplies +24V voltage for the SCNT board and
receives control signals for the document feed motor
and printer control signal.
Ink detection sensor
Receives detection signals from the ink detection
sensor.
Document feed motor Provides drive voltage for the document feed motor.
Connects to speaker.
