Special Setup
1. Select <Special>.
2. Select each item and set it properly.
• DIS : Automatically compensates for
the flicker on the screen.
• Day & night : You can switch the
mode to adjust the black and white
level as well as the colors.
- Color : Always displays the video in
colors.
- B/W : Always displays the video in
black and white.
- Auto : Displays in color mode during normal daytime and switches to black and
white mode in a low contrast scene at night.
\ Dwell time (Color -> B/W) : If you set Day & night mode to <auto>, specify the time
duration the brightness is kept in order to properly perform the mode switch from
Color to B/W.
\ Brightness (Color -> B/W) : If you set Day & night mode to <auto>, specify the level
of brightness where the mode can be switched from Color to B/W.
\ Dwell time (B/W -> Color) : If you set Day & night mode to <auto>, specify the time
duration the brightness is kept in order to properly perform the mode switch from
B/W to Color.
\ Brightness (B/W -> Color) : If you set Day & night mode to <auto>, specify the level
of brightness where the mode can be switched from B/W to Color.
If you set the AGC mode to OFF from <Exposure>, the AUTO DAY/NIGHT mode will be disabled
`
accordingly.
- External B/W : Control the image modes of Color and B/W when an external IR
is synchronized via the Alarm In port.
• Sharpness mode : Adjust the overall sharpness of the image.
If selecting <on>, you can adjust the sharpness of the image.
• Sharpness level : The higher the level is, the sharper and clearer the outline of the
image becomes.
• Alarm in : Set the image to Color or B/W depending on the Open/Close state of
the alarm sensor.
If the Day & Night mode is set to External B/W, the alarm-in function of the event-alarm input page
`
will be disabled.
• Negative mode : Display the reverse image of the video.
