Defrosting the Unit If there is a heavy frost buildup in the SCFU386, remove the contents and disconnect the power. Any frost that has accumulated will melt. Wipe up the melt water with a clean sponge or soft cloth, then dry the unit thoroughly. Finally, reconnect the power.
