Record and Play Memos

Memos are messages you record as reminders for yourself or others using the same answering
system. You can record your own memos using a system handset or the base. Play and delete them
the same way as incoming messages.
to record a memo:
1.
Press
MenU
when the phone is not in use.

to scroll to AnsweringSys, then press Select.

Press
to scroll to Record memo, then press Select.

The system displays Recording memo... and announces, "Record after the tone. Press StoP
when you are done." After the tone, speak towards the microphone.

Press
StoP
to stop recording. The system announces, "Recorded." and then returns to previous
menu.

1.
The system announces "Memory is full," if you attempt to record a memo when the memory is full.
2.
Each memo can be up to 4 minutes in length.
3.
Memos shorter than 2 seconds are not recorded.

Answering Machine Settings

in the answering system setup menu, you can change the settings for call screening, number of rings,
remote access code, message alert tone and recording time.

call Screening

The call screening feature lets you listen at the telephone base to a caller leaving a message. While
monitoring an incoming message, you can answer the call by pressing
to turn call screening on or off:
