Enabling Power Conservation
Port Replicator

Confirm that Phoenix APM 2.0 for Windows NT
played in [Control Panel], this means that the program is installed.) If the program is not
installed, be sure to install it.
Hot Docking and Hot Undocking are not possible with the port replicator.
The reinstallation steps in the Operating Instructions of the port replicator are not
needed.
Volume Adjustment of MIDI File

Double click on the task bar.

Select [Option] – [Properties].

Check [Playback], and add the check mark

Press [OK].

Adjust the volume of [FM Synthesizer].

Click in the top of right corner of the window.
Disabling Audio Device

In [Start] - [Setting] - [Control Panel] - [Multimedia] - [Devices], select [Audio for YAMAHA
DS-XG Audio Driver] in [Audio Devices].

Press [Remove], then press [Yes].

Press [Restart Now].
Reinstalling Audio Device

In [Start] - [Run], input [c:util\drivers\sound\setup.exe], then press [OK].

Press [Next] at the display for the [Welcome].

Press [OK] at the [YAMAHA DS-XG Audio Driver].

Press [Finish] at the [Setup Complete].
