Opening the topcase
• If necessary, unlock the topcase
• Turn key in topcase lock to
position A
• Press down locking cylinder
– Latch 1 snaps open
• Pull up latch 1 as far as it will go
(arrow)
• You can now open the lid of the

topcase

– Topcase lighting

T he interior light goes out auto-
matically when you close the top-

case.

• Close topcase lid
• Close latch 1 until it engages
• If necessary, lock the topcase
and remove the key
