Tractor Maintenance

One of the most important things you can do to prevent
hydraulic system problems is to ensure that your tractor's
reservoir remains free of dirt and contamination.
Use a clean cloth to wipe the hose ends before attaching
them to your tractor. Replace the filter element for your
tractor's hydraulic system at the prescribed intervals.
These simple maintenances will go a long way to prevent
the occurrence of control valve and hydraulic cylinder
problems.

Storage

It is good practice to clean, inspect, service and make
necessary repairs to the cutter when parking it for long
periods and when parking it at the end of a working
season. This will help ensure the cuter is ready for field
use the next time you hook-up to it.
!
Always disconnect main driveline from tractor PTO and secure
cutter deck in the up position with solid supports before
servicing the underside of the cutter.
