How to Use This Manual
This manual is organized into the following topics:

After reading the Introduction and the Operation of the Communications Feature, you
should be able to sign on with a remote system, use the IBM 5100 Portable Computer to
transmit data from the keyboard, and receive data. The remaining sections of the manual
provide you with a detailed explanation of 5100 operations during communications.
