    To change the boot precedence for PCI devices, start the Configuration/Setup Utility program, and select Start Options from the main menu. Refer to the User’s Reference on the IBM Netfinity Documentation CD for details on using the Configuration/Setup Utility program.

    Microprocessor internal clock frequencies and external clock frequencies must be identical. See the ServerProven list at http://www.ibm.com/pc/netfinity for a list of microprocessors for use with your server. Note: The illustrations in this document might differ slightly from your hardware.

    Installing a power supply Adding a power supply Your server comes with one power supply. You can replace the power supply backplane with an optional backplane that will enable you to add a second power supply, which gives redundancy and will make the power supplies hot-swappable. You can also add a third power supply for additional capacity.

    Chapter 4. Configuring your server The ServerGuide CDs provide software setup tools and installation tools that are specifically designed for your IBM Netfinity server. Use these CDs during the initial installation of your server to configure basic hardware features and to simplify your network operating system installation.
