3. If necessary, position the mobile computer horizontally or vertically (as shown in
36), depending on the orientation of the tag.
4. Pull the trigger.
5. An audible beep sounds and the Indicator LED bar flashes green each time a new tag is read.
This indicates the tag was decoded successfully.
6. Release the trigger.
Tag decoding usually occurs instantaneously. The mobile computer repeats
the steps required to read a tag as long as the trigger remains pulled.

The Indicator LED bar on the mobile computer provides a visual indication of the scan status. See
Figure 1-1 on page 1-3
