Selecting the Network Print Method Once a network card has been installed, various methods for network printing become available. This section describes how to select the appropriate network print method for the type of operating system that you are using.

Assigning an IP Address The IP address can be assigned using a function on the “NETWORK SETTING” menu. Other functions on the “NETWORK SETTING” menu can be used to specify the subnet mask and default gateway settings. Press the [Utility] key. The first Utility mode screen appears.

(If there is, a special IP address will be assigned by the AutoIP function. However, the copier will not be able to communicate with other devices on the network that have had ordinary IP addresses assigned to them.
