Incorrect driver for voice func-
tions set under WinFax 8.0.
Cause
DECT HF wanted signal is influ-
encing the monitor.
DECT HF wanted signal is de-
modulated by the analog com-
ponents of the sound card or
the amplifiers of active speakers
and thus produces a humming
sound.
Tips & tricks, settings
Solution
During installation, WinFax 8.0
requires a modem driver to be
selected for voice functions; the
Generic / Rockwell Fax/Voice
driver is to be used here accord-
ing to ELSA AG.
Solution
Move Gigaset M101 Data along
the longitudinal axis until the in-
terference disappears. Move Gi-
gaset M101 Data further away
from the monitor.
Move Gigaset M101 Data along
the longitudinal axis until the in-

from the sound card/loudspeak-
ers.
