NIGHT PORTRAIT MODE

In Night Portrait mode, the camera balances the flash and existing light exposure so you
can take beautiful pictures of people at sunset or at night.
• The flash is set to manual fill-flash. Press the flash mode button to set or cancel red-eye
reduction.
1. Press the subject program selector until the pointer
is under
50
.
2. Place the subject within the focus frame and
press the shutter-release button all-the-way
down.
• The shutter speed will most likely be slow. Use of a
tripod is recommended.
• After taking the picture, the camera returns to Auto
mode.
