NIGHT PORTRAIT MODE

In Night Portrait mode, the camera balances the flash and existing light exposure so you can
take beautiful pictures of people at sunset or at night.
1. Press the subject-program-select button until the

• The flash is set to manual fill-flash with red-eye reduction. Red-

eye reduction can be cancelled with the flash-mode button.

2. Place the subject in the focus frame and press the
shutter-release button all-the-way down to take the
picture.
The shutter speed will most likely be slow. Use of a tripod is recommended.
