If engine does not start, read pg. 8
Problem
Cutters wearing unevenly/prematurely
Cutter shaft breakage prematurely
Drum wearing prematurely or cracking
Excess vibration
Machine jumps erratically
"V" belt wear prematurely
Cam lever will not raise/lower
Hand-Wheel won't turn
Uneven Cutting
Adjustable Handlebar is Loose

Drum is too low,
Incorrect set-up,

Material build-up,

Cutters too tightly loaded, and/or

Wrong cutters for the job.

Drum too low,
End plates or bushings worn,

Shafts worn,
Wrong cutter set-up and/or

Over 40 hours service-life.

Drum hitting ground, and/or

Shafts and bushings not replaced within 40 hours.

Bearing worn or
grease not getting into bearing.

- Line up grease hole
- Clean grease fitting
- Check Seals
- or Replace Bearing
Hex bushing worn, drive shaft worn, improper cutter
set-up, drum contacting ground, or wheels worn out.
Drum hitting ground,

and/or
Surface is severely uneven.

Pulley is misaligned,

and/or
Drum is contacting surface.

Raise or lower Hand-Wheel.
Clean and grease threads, linkage may be bent, or
hand-wheel out of position.
Cutting too deeply, or rear wheel fork is bent.
Insert the flat head of a screwdriver between the Bolt
and Washer then tighten bolt with a 9/16" wrench
washer. Always keep tight!
