Peel off the mylar tape that secures the keyboard data cable to the back of the
keyboard.
Installing the Keyboard
1.
Affix the mylar tape to secure the keyboard data cable to the back of the keyboard.
2.
Place the keyboard on the palmrest to align with the screw holes.
3.
Connect the keyboard data cable to the system board.
4.
Tighten the keyboard screws.
5.
Flip the computer and tighten the screws to secure the keyboard to the system
board.
6.
Replace the keyboard trim.
7.
Replace the back cover.
8.
Replace the battery.
