Connecting SAS cables

Ê Shut down the server.
Ê You can assign up to four SAS ports on your backup subsystem (see
"Ports on a SAS/SATA backup subsystem" on page
that Channels A to D are assigned in the correct order.
For the factory-provided SAS configuration, the connectors on the rear side and
the drives on the front are connected 1:1.
