PERFORMANCE & MAINTENANCE

Eliminating Window Noise

When you drive with the rear window(s)
down and the front windows up, you
may experience a buffeting noise. You
can eliminate this noise by lowering a
front window approximately one-half
inch.

Parking Brake

The parking brake lever is located
between the driver's and front passen-
ger's seats. If your vehicle is equipped
with the folding armrest between the
seats, it is necessary to lift the armrest
to set the parking brake.
See Section 2 of your Owner Manual.

Electric Power Steering

The speed-sensitive electric power
steering system offers variable-effort
B
steering assistance based on vehicle
speed, providing more assistance at
lower speeds and less assistance at
higher speeds.
If you turn the steering wheel in either
direction several times until it stops, or
hold the steering wheel in the stopped
position for an extended time, you may
notice a reduced amount of power steer-
ing assistance. The regular amount of
power steering assistance should
return soon after a few normal steering
movements.
See Section 4 of your Owner Manual.
