Description
Time display on the handset
Your handset is within the range of a base station. The
reception field strength is excellent. You may make
phone calls.
The reception field strength is too low. The handset can-
not set up a phone connection. The antenna symbol and
the reception field indicators are greyed out.
The handsfree talking loudspeaker on the rear of the
housing is activated.
The microphone is Off. The person you have called or
who has called you cannot hear you.
You make a phone call using the headphones/headset.
The microphone and the loudspeaker of the handset are
automatically switched off.
The key [Star/Shift] was pressed long while you are
in a text entry function. Then pressing this key
changes between different spellings.
The key [Star/Shift] was pressed long in order to in-
itiate the entry of an address for messaging
Long keystroke: Keep the key depressed until you
hear the deep confirmation beep. You will not hear
this confirmation beep if the key click is switched off.
See Menu > Setup > Phone settings > Audio set-
tings > Tones > Key click.
At least one of the acoustic call signals for internal calls,
for external calls or for received messages is muted.
Now the handset will not ring any more. See also Menu
> Setup > Phone settings > Audio settings > Signalling.
