General instruccions
Bosch Drills GBM 10-2, GBM 10 RE, GBM 550 and GBM
550 RE have been developed to execut the mor different
drilling typs in: steel, aluminium, wood and others.
The GBM 10-2 is equiped with two speed switch, that switch
permitsthe speed selection according to the material.
The GBM 10 RE and GBM 550 RE has an electronic switch
that allows a graduation on the speed and lever for speed
reversion that allows the use of this drill as screw driver.
By using other accessories, you will be able to do small jobs
of: sanding, polishing, griding, brushing, etc.

Noise/vibration information

Measured values determined according to EN 50 144.
Typically the A-weighted noise levels of the tool are: Sound
pressure level: 90 dB (A). Sound power level: 103 dB (A).

Safety
In addition, the general safety instructions on page 14
must be followed. Before using the tool for the first
time, ask for a practical demonstration.
• Before connecting the plug to any electrical outlet, be
sure that the voltage matches the indications on the tool's
name plate.
case of damage, have them replaced immediately.
• In case of power cord replacement always use P/N as in-
dicated in Parts List included in product documentation.
• Do not remove the plug from the electric cord; it will pro-
tect you against electric shocks and short-circuits from
the mains.
• Unplug the tool before servicing and when changing ac-
cessories.
• Wear all the protective equipment recommended, such
as apron and gloves, safety goggles, ear-plugs, etc.
• Do not work materials containing asbestos. Asbestos is
considered carcinogenic.
• Take protective measures when dust can develop dur-
ing working that is harmful to one's health, combustible
or explosive. Example: Some dusts are regarded as car-
cinogenic. Wear a dust mask and work with dust/chip ex-
traction when connectable.
• Don't use damaged accessories such as stiff bits, worn

Working safely with this machine is possible
only when the operating and safety informa-
tion are read completely and the instruc-
tions contained therein are strictly followed.
• Never connect the plug to the electric supply
with the tool switched on.
• Always check the general conditions of your
tool's cord, plugs and of the electrical outlets. In
out sanding paper, split grinding wheels, etc.
• Don't use your tool in damp locations.
• Don't use your tool in the presence of flamable
fluids or gases. Danger of explosion !
